While Charlotte was off playing in the great land of Texas, we remodeled her bedroom with blue walls and white puffy clouds from Toy Story I, set up new toddler bed along with crib and basically made room for new baby boy due in August.
Charlotte is 20mo old and we have 4-5 months to get her used to the toddler bed. It might be a little early to move her but we don't see the point in getting a 2nd crib only to switch to a toddler bed shortly after.
Tonight I held my breath, walked her to sleep and gently laid her in the toddler bed. She didn't move. It's been 2 hours, no noise so I'm going to bed now. Hopefully this works! Fingers crossed!!!
