Today was a success! We heard her babbling at 6:30am and listened for 10 minutes before going in. I found her IN her toddler bed, lying the opposite way we had set her the night before. She sat up and immediately showed me every toy on her bed. This is new - she hasn't shown any interest in her stuffed toys prior. It was fun to name each toy and she tried to repeat each.
Ah if all milestones could go so smoothly!

Yay!
Congrats on taking such a big step.
So exciting! We have yet to move Davi to a toddler bed.... she is still in her crib and sleeping so well. It's hard to mess with a good thing.
Good for you!
Thanks! And don't mess with a good thing! The only reason we did this so early is because we didn't want to buy a 2nd crib! I've known many parents to wait until the kids are 2 and 3, we started at 20mo! For us it's a lack of space and the toddler bed was donated so why eak out the extra $$ for another crib!
