This post written in hopes of winning a new camera sponsored by SITS Blog. The following decorations were made specifically for 2010 Halloween in our home.
The candle sticks were made with one piece of molding and one piece of chair leg. The two pieces were attached together and a hole was drilled in the end for the candles. They were then stained. The candles were purchased from Walmart for $1.00 and we learned that cheap candles produce lovely drips.

I didn't realize pumpkins were carnivores. I will have to watch my two year old near our pumpkins.

Good luck!
The decorations look great!
