I suppose it would have been a great feat of coordination to have pie ready to eat at 3:14pm but it didn't happen. Instead I have a cherry pie ready to eat when husband gets home at 10 or 11. Long day for him at work!
Pleasant day for me with Charlotte. We went to church this morning, she slept 3 hours - squeee! - and then did grocery shopping for 2 hours. I really need to leave that to husband, it's getting heavy to carry Charlotte while shopping and pregnant. At least I come home and put everything in her big red wagon to cart into the house.

Sounds like you had more than Mommy brain going on there. However, I am so glad that your mother called and you went to the beach. Sounds like you just needed to rest your mind for a little while.
