Linking to awesome working mom blogger Julia @ Work, Wife, Mom, Life, this weeks prompt is: Do you bring your work home with you? Why or why not?
Yes, almost every day! A crucial part of my job is getting my Asia counterparts to understand new developments and meet critical time lines. If I make myself available to them on SKYPE every night it helps move things along faster, reduces mistakes.
It impacts my life in several ways:
1. When I work till mid-night, I don't get into the office until 10am, which means I work till 7pm, which means I see the kids one hour before bedtime.
2. I DO get to surf the internet and blogs while waiting for someone to reply on SKYPE. That can be fun.
3. I've lost all track of nightly TV shows and am considering canceling cable - at least for the summer.
So when people get all excited and say "wow you work at a toy company, that must be so much fun!", I grimace and say, sometimes.

Your hours sound like they would be difficult. I guess the toy company isn't always games :)
Those ARE my hours. Somedays I'm OK with it, but yea...it can be very stressful.
