Travel Diet

I've acclimated to a diet of seafood, rice, veggies and fruit.

The first week I was here, my milk supply dropped in half. I was so upset. By the weekend, I relaxed and did no work. I walked and walked with Grit's family and ate very simple foods. Somewhere along the way I recovered breast milk supply and have continued to eat simply for this entire week.

And you know what? My jeans are loose! I've lost weight and I don't even have a belt to tighten up. My belt broke this week! So my jeans are very saggy - should I be sad or glad?

When I'm home I eat yogurt, cheese, bread, chicken, beef, pasta - these are staples of life. It works for me at home, but this diet does not work over here.

Sounds like the "new diet" is just the thing. :) Maybe this is what I need too. And I need to add the walking as well. I need new jeans badly and am determined to wait to buy them until I can lose the extra 10-15 pounds I put on and haven't lost since 2 yr old was born. Ugh... 2 and 1/2 year old. Yeah, it's time for me to lose some weight! lol Well, be glad. And I am glad for you!

yes, it's the total lack of dairy here; i've dropped at least a dress size thanks to the hiking and the vegan diet.
