Random Tuesday Thoughts

This fun blog hop brought to you by "The Un Mom", head over and check out her way cool graphics.

This weekend Charlotte announced she wanted to take a walk after putting on my swim goggles. We proceeded to march around the neighborhood as such.

My latest adventure on Facebook is to try and build a fan base around something really innocuous like "Proud to be married to a Texan". I have 10 fans already - now I need to entertain them!
---------------------
I keep having fantasy's of my water breaking while I'm in church. I attend Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale which seats 3,700 and I sit in the front row. Yesterday's fantasy started as I walked to the car to get a sweater. My seat being held by this really sweet grandmother I sit next too who occasionally complains about random things like the temperature and snorts loudly when the pastor mentions anything about sex. Anyway, I thought that as I walked to the car, what if my water broke, I had left my purse sitting with her and Charlotte was checked into the nursery. Husband is off working an hour away. I let myself enjoy this moment of drama until I made it safely back to my seat.

Charlotte looks ADORABLE in those goggles! :) Princess Nagger would have wanted to go on a walk to show them off, too. ;)

Luckily Murphy and his Law weren't hanging out in your church parking lot - or your fantasy of your water breaking just might have come true! ;)

RTT: Rain Delays, Kiddie Pool, Cookouts Galore and a Rat.

I love kids in goggles. It cracks me up every time.

Water breaking in church doesn't sound like fun. I sprung a small leak with my first and had my water broken at the hospital with second. Water breaking anywhere in public kinda freaks me out. It's okay for other people though.

If I let him, Turbo would spend every day in goggles, cause you never know when the world will be overwhelmed with water and you might need them.

Love the fantasy of your water breaking. I think when you're at that point in pregnancy you don't care where or when it breaks... JUST BREAK ALREADY! PLEASE! Great post.

Love how bold she is in wanting to parade around the neighborhood with goggles on.

I used to think that if I came up with a creative scenario for something happening it wouldn't happen that way when it actually does happen. Knowing the world, it will probably be a non-event.

Thanks for your randomness,

That would be more like a bad dream than a fantasy! good luck

Well of course you'd walk outside with swim googles one...how else would one walk about the neighbourhood. :) So, very cute.

Hi Stacy - thanks, I'm sure if you leave your swim goggles out Princess Nagger would be happy to oblige.

Hi Rachele - I tend to agree with you, this was more an attempt at horror fantasy on my part.

VandyJ - you made me laugh out loud with that comment. World overtaken by water!

Jeanette - you got it girl!

Hi CaJoh - I agree with you, I guess I figure if I plan it out meticulously, it won't actually happen that way!

Hi Kerry - yes, you are correct!

Thanks Amanda! You know kids well!!

With pregnancy #3, I had Braxton Hicks contractions for about 4 1/2 months. Went to the hospital all the time because they kept getting worse and more intense. I am still surprised to this day that they didn't put me on bed rest for the last month or two. LOL! Anyhow, they finally put me on a med similar to Brethine which helped to reduce the contractions. Then, at 37 weeks along, they told me that I could go off it. I knew it could be anytime and that when and if my water broke, I would gush. I tend to hold a lot of water. I mean, A LOT! I walked around on egg shells those last few days when my water finally broke. I went into labor 2 1/2 weeks before my due date. I was starting to have daymares after I went off the med about my water breaking without having any contractions whatsoever. And, you know what? It happened just like that. No contractions, no warning. Nothing. Just a warm gush, a thought that I peed myself and then slight panic. LOL! Then, I laughed. It truly was kinda funny.

The goggles are so cute. Is there anything that she isn't cute in? Nah!

It's vital so that you can get sufficient calcium in your weight loss program. As ossification happens (the course of of your child's skeleton altering from cartilage to bone), your child wants an growing provide of calcium. should you don't have sufficient calcium in your diet, your child will rob the calcium out of your bones. this may result in osteoporosis. So it's extra vital than ever so that you can drink that tumbler of milk, or eat that scrumptious chunk of cheese.
