Multitude Monday

One of my favorite bloggers, Ann Voskamp, writes a list of things she's thankful for every Monday. Another blogger that I admire, Work, Wife, Mom...life has also started doing this so I thought I'd join in today with the beginning of my list.

Things I'm thankful for:
  1. $1.99 Red Raspberries - they are only sold in 6oz containers and the price can get as high as $4.99 in the winter so when I see $1.99 I get crazy excited!!!
  2. My little girl when she holds my face in her two hands and smiles at me. It's so sweet.
  3. French Toast
  4. My faithful mom who's always quick to remind me to be thankful for my husband.
  5. Maple Syrup
Ha ha, can you tell I'm having breakfast?

Well now I'm hungry...for French Toast with maple syrup and raspberries on top. Geez! :)
You want to hear something ridiculous...maple syrup is cheaper @ Costco down there, then up here where isn't produced! I live near a pretty big syrup production and we've made our own a few years. YUM!!
And the other two...I can see why you're thankful.

Aren't moms good like that? Mom tells me things that I need to hear, that make me mad sometime, but from anyone else on the face of the earth, I would not take the advise or constructive criticism like I can from her.

Don't you just love when they love on you. I get kisses, hugs, "I love you"s and all sorts of other affectionate gestures. I once heard a mother say that she couldn't have more than one cause she didn't want to divide her love like that. In my opinion, it doesn't divide, it multiplies and multiplies some more. :) The silly, happy gestures from them just make all our bad days worth it! What a reward!
