Fog on Friday 13th!

I just love Friday the 13th, the Pittsburgh goth in me comes out with glee.

I took baby for a walk to experience her first fog. This is her kicking her legs.

We found a pile of abandoned duck eggs, I thought they had to sit on them non-stop. We saw the mom come back as she spotted us checking out the eggs.

It's that time of year when we get many migrated birds on the pond and my favorite is the Coot. He's back!

What a beautiful baby! (Both brand new and now that she's a little older.) Can you point me to a post that would tell me about your toy job (that is, job in the toy industry, not like a pretend job)? I'm really curious, because it sounds like so much fun.

Hi Jeanne - thank you! The toy industry is just mad insanity. Laws keep getting stricter and that's GOOD but it causes mad insanity to our clients and in Asia. Every deadline is extremely tight, people are constantly in a panic about ship dates, but back in our creative room we laugh all day about CEO's increasingly bizarre behavior. And the travel is awesome. My favorite posts are of my travels for work in 2006. That's about all I wrote about then. I've gone back and updated all work posts with the label JOB so you can sort and read them and here is one of mine that just about sums it up:

I love writing about work. The weirdest stuff happens. I really like your blog because you have the oddest stories.

Thanks for visiting!
