Random Tuesday

Stacy

This past weekend I had the ultimate random experience. I traveled to Harrisburg, PA for a Christian blogger conference and the weather report said 40's at night, 50's during the day. That's cold for me - coming from South Florida - so I packed warm suede boots and layers of sweaters.

HOWEVER!

The day after I got there, the weather report changed to snow forecast for Saturday! Snow! In October? Now, I actually grew up in this area and cannot recall snow before Halloween so this was definitely random!

Photos!!!

Poor broken flower!

Sunday, all my flights were on time. Bye snow, back home to sunny Florida and my adorable family!!

I recall one time while in the Smoky Mountains, there was family visiting who was from Florida and the mountains had snow. This was the first time the children had seen it and they were scooping it up to take back down the mountain. Of course, we knew the temperature at the bottom of the mountain was much warmer than at Clingman's Dome. We knew their collection of snow would be melted before they got back to Gatlinburg. lol It was so funny and entertaining to watch, yet it made me stop to appreciate all the more what we have. I could not imagine not having the changinging seasons with the various weather mixes.

Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday. Thankfully my rash problem is only a periodic thing, but you poor dear probably have far more issues with your eczema than I do, but you're I think you are onto something with the toxins. I'd say there is a good chance it's related. Have you tried Googling it?

You poor thing leaving FL to come east for the freak snow storm... I have lived in NY my entire life and I don't remember ever having snow in Oct. This reminds me of this summer when my mom left FL to visit us & arrived just in time for Hurricane Irene... SIGH!

Hi Cathy, I go to a dermatologist on a regular basis, I'll have to ask her about the toxins. I'm intrigued! Thanks for sharing your story on the snow, that's really funny.

Hi Hilary, that's right! It was a surprise to everyone. I'm just glad I didn't experience any power failures or delays in getting home for Halloween!!! Thanks for dropping by today.
