About to leave for mini break, why does it take an entire day to prepare for a 2 day trip?
Drop dog off to farm - 2 hour trip
3 loads of laundry
2 loads of dishes
pack food
make chili for evening meal contribution
make cookies - never get around to cooking them b/c they have a stove
pack clothes
feed cats
take out trash
and so on and so on

I know the feeling! I wonder why it takes so long just to get the kids ready for a freaking trip to the Y, let alone a mini break!
