Baby is 10 weeks old today!

Which means I've been allowed to exercise for 4, and I have sporadically but I've also been eating lots of dessert, potatoes, pasta and my favorite fast food - Chick-fil-a where I get fried chicken, waffle fries and cookies and cream milkshake.

Since the weight has not magically fallen off with breast feeding, sporadic exercise and eating whatever I want, I've decided to get back on the diet wagon. The next 4 weeks will showcase my ironclad commitment to eating better.

Oh yeah and happy 10 weeks birthday to Charlotte!

Oh my gosh! Will you give yourself a break? You are a new mom. It took nine months to put it on. At least give yourself 4 months to take it off. And, hey, if it's not off by that time, and you have a healthy, happy baby, than good for you!

Quite frankly, I think you look terrific. Just ask Mike. I am sure that he would agree. The girls are certainly nice, right? :D I don't think that you have anything to worry about.

Now, if you are doing it for health reasons and you like the excercise, then good for you. I really don't think that you are one for crash diets and all that. Just do it because you feel better. Not just because you want to fit in that old pair of jeans.

A little early to diet don't you think!! You're life has just changed in the most amazing way, give yourself a break and enjoy it. Plenty of time for dieting later, especially if you find a gym with a creche, time to yourself and exercise, how's that for streamlined? MH

Okay okay I'll calm down, I haven't really committed to it yet as I felt the need to eat up the junk food in the house. I can't just throw it away like all the diet books suggest! I just meant I needed to stop eating fast food at every opportunity. It's quite unusual for me, prior to pregnancy I never ate fast food.
