**blooming amaryllis (my dad took such pride in his, I've had this one for 3 years and it blooms every spring)
**blooming orchids (another pride and joy)
I should add we live in a totally shaded spot so not much chance of getting most flowers to bloom but our amaryllis and orchids bloom every spring!!!

** muddy floors from puppy paw prints and toddler feet that I just mopped yesterday :(

I love when things come into bloom every year...and this year seems to be earlier than normal up here in my parts! :)
Beautiful! I am not sure who had/has the greener thumb. Your mom or dad? Anyhow, seems you inherited it alright. Looks like Charlotte is a shoo-in too! :D I think on wonderful days like you just described, a dirty floor would be worth it! :D Although I am not pregnant...
Yeah I don't mind the floor, at least it was clean for a day. I'm hoping the shoes dry out okay though, she loves those little pink moccasins!
Yeah, my floors don't stay clean for long either. One day is about as good as it gets here. :)
