My brother has been raving about the peach festival for years, so when he invited us at 10:30 on a Sunday morning we jumped at the chance! Even though it meant leaving husband home to mow the lawn and unload our moving trailer all by himself. Sorry husband!
It was hot! Not as hot as Florida but wishing I had the foresight to put suntan lotion on everyone kinda hot.
We devoured peach ice cream and sandwiches while the kids bounced in the bounce house. Then it was on to the pony rides and petting zoo.
Charlotte spotted a girl with face paint and our final quest of the day was to find the face painter. The line was long but it was so worth it to see these little faces.
We think the face painter was really cool, she has a Facebook page that I will link to once I find her.
