Multitude Monday

One of my favorite bloggers, Ann Voskamp, writes a list of things she's thankful for every Monday.

6. Sidewalk chalk – it’s so much fun to watch toddlers create art
7. Crayons on huge white tablets – again, toddlers making art is so coo
8. Peach ice cream
9. Frozen Yogurt with fresh fruit
10. Unexpected gifts – our Cheesecake Factory brunch was paid for on Father’s Day by my boss and our Toy Story 3 movie was paid for by husband’s mom!!!
11. My father, who loved me more than I’ll ever know and always treated my visits home as if he were welcoming the Queen of England!
12. Stickers – you see we are discovering the world of toddler art and design

that's a nice idea, the gratitude list.

wow, you've been reading my blog for over a year: thank you! i have a young colleague who can't wait for The Big One, while I am quivering in my flip flops. But we'll have some good coverage of any storms, tropical or hurricanes - video coverage. He's debuting his 'pre-hurricane season' video soon and I'll post that and when the storms come there'll be more video. People love it, and I love video, but not storms. He tells me one is developing now, so watch the NHC to see what happens down your way soon. Maybe it will dissipate but ocean temps are up already....?

When is your baby due again?

Love this! I needed it today. Wasn't finding much to be thankful for when having a good cry today. Ugh! This too shall pass! :) I need to blog but when I sit down to do, I always seem to come up blank! :P Anyways! You dad was so super proud of you. You were definitely Daddy's Little Girl with him. He would have LOVED Charlotte! Good post! Makes me think. Life isn't nearly as bad as we think it is. :)

Hi Jeannie - I'm due August 5th but my first came at 35 1/2 weeks and that's any time next week! Also, my first came on a full moon night and the next one is on the 26th. I'm also keeping an eye out for low pressure systems!!!

Hi CWB - I understand, sometimes just writing a few words is enough for a blog post! Hope you feel better soon.
